Welcome to Agile Practitioners Hub

  • Here’s how your Agile journey will unfold. While these steps are structured for progressive learning, many of them can—and should—happen in parallel to maximise your impact:

    1. Complete the Two-Day Agile & Scrum Bootcamp – Build a strong foundation in Agile principles and Scrum practices.

    2. Prepare for and Pass the Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) Exam – Validate your Agile knowledge with an industry-recognised certification.

    3. Pair Up for Interactive Lunch-and-Learn Sessions – Collaborate with another enabler in your market to share ideas and inspire others.

    4. Facilitate and Establish a Team Agreement in Your Own Team – Align your team around shared goals and ways of working.

    5. Facilitate Team Agreement Workshops for Another Team – Expand your influence by guiding another team through this critical process.

    6. Facilitate and Run Retrospectives Within Your Own Team – Foster continuous improvement and learning.

    7. Support Another Team in Establishing Their Retrospectives – Help another team reflect and grow.

    8. Apply Kanban Boards, Prioritisation Techniques, and Other Agile Practices Within Your Team – Turn Agile concepts into action.

    9. Serve as a Co-Facilitator in Agile & Scrum Bootcamps in the Region – Develop your facilitation skills and scale Agile practices.

    10. Document and Share Your Journey – Reflect on your experiences and inspire others through storytelling on Workplace and other channels.

Once you’ve met most of these milestones, you’ll be invited to co-train multiple Agile & Scrum Bootcamps before graduating from the programme.

I’m excited to welcome you to our thriving community of Agile Practitoners! This hub is your go-to resource for mastering Agile practices and driving meaningful change.

To support your journey, I’ve organised the resources into four focus areas. While these areas are designed to build on each other, many of the activities can—and should—happen in parallel. I encourage you to explore and apply practices across phases as you grow in confidence and capability.

Here’s how to navigate the hub and make the most of your learning experience:

🔹 Phase 1: Foundation Building

Begin by strengthening your understanding of Agile and Scrum fundamentals. These resources will prepare you for the Agile & Scrum Bootcamp and help you succeed in earning your Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification.

🔹 Phase 2: Practical Application

Start applying Agile practices within your own team. Use these guides to experiment with facilitation techniques, time boxing, and workflow visualisation. This hands-on experience will build your confidence in Agile delivery.

🔹 Phase 3: Leadership & Facilitation (Can Run in Parallel with Phase 2)

As you apply Agile practices, begin sharing your learning with others. Co-facilitate Lunch & Learn sessions and Agile events to inspire and engage your peers, even while still deepening your own practice.

💡 Tip: Don't wait to be an expert—start facilitating Lunch & Learn sessions while practicing Agile within your team!

🔹 Phase 4: Reflection, Storytelling & Strategic Refinement (Ongoing Throughout Your Journey)

Continuous improvement relies on both reflection and strategic refinement. As you experiment with Agile practices, take time to reflect on your progress, refine your approach, and share your experiences to inspire others. Use these tools to sharpen your strategy, align your actions with purpose, and effectively communicate your Agile journey:

  • What-Why-Done Canvas → Refine your strategic goals and ensure your team's work aligns with meaningful outcomes.

  • What-Why-HOW Canvas → Bridge strategy and execution by breaking down why something matters and how to achieve it.

  • Storytelling Guide (Coming Soon!) → Craft compelling stories to share your challenges, successes, and lessons learned, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

💡 Tip: Regularly step back to refine your team’s direction and share those insights to amplify your impact across JTI MENEAT.

🔹 Learn Scrum by Teaching it

Master the Scrum framework by creating your own video guide. This hands-on learning experience will help you:

  • Deeply understand the framework by explaining it to others

  • Develop confidence in discussing Agile concepts

  • Create a resource you can share with your team

  • Build storytelling skills essential for Agile leadership

Here’s a new thing I am experimenting with; The Topic Triage Matrix is a practical thinking tool designed to help teams and facilitators decide where a topic belongs in terms of action, ownership, and priority — rather than letting every issue automatically escalate into a team-wide discussion or backlog item.
